Each of the mentioned materials has its own function, playing an important role on the journey toward healthy and comfortable sleep. We place emphasis on using only the highest quality.

1. Cotton and Sheep’s Wool

They are among the essential materials we use in our production. Their greatest advantages are softness and breathability. Cotton can easily absorb moisture, which you will especially appreciate during the warm summer months. Sheep’s wool is equally breathable and healthy. In summer it pleasantly cools the body, in winter it keeps it warm. These materials are also characterized by high elasticity and, above all, durability.

2. Horsehair

You may also encounter the term horsehair. This material is naturally highly durable and, like cotton or sheep’s wool, also breathable. It owes this to the hollow structure of its fibers, which helps effectively wick moisture away from the body and the mattress. Your sleep will therefore be healthier and you will wake up rested and refreshed. We use horsehair in our luxury Caravaggio mattresses and Rembrandt.

3. Silk

The roots of silk usage date back to 13th century China. It is one of the oldest fibers known to humanity and it retains its qualities to this day. It is valued mainly for its thermoregulatory properties, as it pleasantly warms the body in winter and effectively draws heat away in summer. It perfectly absorbs moisture, so excessive sweating during sleep is not a concern.

4. Cashmere

Cashmere is a true synonym of luxury. Incredibly pleasant to the touch, it greatly contributes to comfortable sleep. It is naturally breathable, helping to draw moisture away from the body of the sleeper, preventing overheating or unnecessary temperature drops in winter. It has excellent hypoallergenic properties, which are appreciated by people with sensitive skin, allergies, or respiratory issues.

5. Alpaca Wool

One of the more exotic natural materials we use in the production of our luxury mattresses. Like cashmere or silk, it is wonderful to the touch and literally caresses the body. In addition, it is characterized by natural anti-allergic properties. It is therefore a suitable choice for people with sensitive skin or various respiratory issues. Besides that, alpaca wool is elastic, water-resistant and above all durable.

6. Mohair Wool

This material is made from the hair of the Angora goat. It is characterized by exceptional durability, significantly helping to extend the lifespan of the mattress. Mohair wool, compared to sheep’s wool, is softer, shinier and more luxurious to the touch. It can perfectly regulate body temperature of the sleeping person, which is important for healthy and comfortable sleep throughout the year.

7. Natural Latex

It is characterized by perfect point elasticity, which means that during sleep it provides ideal support for every part of the body. Natural latex is soft yet elastic and helps relieve pressure points, which is especially appreciated by people who tend to wake up with back or lower back pain. In addition, it has natural antimicrobial properties, resists mold and dust mites and helps maintain clean air in the room. It is perfectly breathable and effectively regulates body temperature.
